First to answer why we need TDebs:
localepurge: Disk space freed in /usr/share/locale: 256828K
localepurge: Disk space freed in /usr/share/man: 4496K
Total disk space freed by localepurge: 261324K
Second, I will write my tdebs implementation proposal after posting this (although Aigars made a really good sythesis of the discutions we had in Extremadura and there is almost no room for improvement :-). I have posponed long enough.
