networking in wine on amd64

Anyone managed to do that?

I tried the sid amd64 packages, the i386 packages, the lenny amd64 packages, backported etch packages (they worked for me on a i386 system at work). None of these lets me use networking.

Is wine networking working for other people using the amd64 arch?

Update: apparently I am one of the few for which wine networking on amd64 doesn't work. Th ebad thing is that I don't know why or how to fix it.

It's working for me (Ubuntu Gutsy w/ an X2 3800+). I use(d) it to play wow for the last year.

I use wine in a 32bit schroot on a amd64 computer with unstable (both in the schroot and outside), and it just work, and I don't remind having done anything but just installing the debian packages.

HTTP doesn't work for me. I can connect to Steam and play Steam games, but Firefox doesn't work and i can't access the Steam store.

It works for me (actual Debian Sid amd64 (no chroot, etc))

yup, works fine here. I've been using it to play PokerStars for the past month under etch and lenny.

I found the solution to my version of the problem. DNS lookups didn't work for me, due to Debian bug 430845:

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=430845

The solution was to install lib32nss-mdns or uninstall libnss-mdns.
